Privacy

The Mission Phone exists so a parent can reach the people they already know. We do not sell data. We do not run ads. We do not build a profile of them for anyone else.

Audio is used to do what they asked, then dropped. We do not keep recordings to train models on their voice. Messages are read back to them before they send. Unknown numbers go to you, not to them.

You see what happened: every call and message, as a text to you. That log is for the family who set the phone up. It is not a public feed.

Money apps are blocked at the system level. The phone never speaks first. It never acts unless they asked.

During checkout, Mission keeps the buyer’s email, the recipient’s first name, and any optional welcome recording or context on private Mission storage. Polar receives payment details and the billing address, which Mission uses for phone delivery; we send Polar only an opaque checkout reference, not the recording or recipient context. Unpaid checkout drafts expire after 48 hours. Paid onboarding details are kept only as long as needed to prepare the phone, provide support, and meet legal obligations.

Polar processes payments, receipts, subscriptions, and billing changes under its own privacy terms. Card details do not pass through or stay on Mission’s servers.

If we shut down, calling still works without our servers. This is not an emergency service and does not replace 911.
